The day of the funeral

The funeral procession might begin at the home of the person who has died, from the Funeral Director's or it may begin at the service location.  A drive past of a favourite place or the home of the person might also take place.

Family and friends may travel separately to the service or perhaps follow the hearse in a cortege.

The service will have a time limit, if you feel you need more time, please discuss this with us.   We can arrange more time for a longer service, on your behalf.

A burial is a more relaxed setting as there are not usually any time limit, whereas a cremation has up to an hour for the full service.

After the funeral has taken place, you might offer refreshments at a venue of your choosing, where you may continue to share happy memories of the person who has died, with friends and family .
